Ciprofloxacin is a fluoroquinolone (flor-o-KWIN-o-lone) antibiotic that fights bacteria in the body. It is used to treat different types of bacterial infections, including skin infections, bone and joint infections, respiratory or sinus infections, urinary tract infections, and certain types of diarrhea. Ciprofloxacin is also used to treat people who have been exposed to anthrax or certain types of plague.

Just wondering how many of you ladies (who are pregnant with twins) conceived twins while using Clomid? I read that even though Clomid may produce more than one egg to be released, the chances of conceiving twins is not that high. Just curious to know the "actual" stats of the ingender ladies with twins. I had 3 cycles of Clomid and only produced one egg each time. Eggs must've been good as I've got two Clomid babies though. I asked my fertility doc this question and he had just delivered Clomid twins that morning! He did say though that chances of conceiving twins in a normal natural cycle is about 4% and with Clomid it raises it to about 5-10% so not too much difference (well, I guess that depends on whether you were the one who got the twins.. ) I took Clomid for my MS/IUI, had three mature follicles, and got pregnant with one baby. I have a good friend who took Clomid to help her ovulate and now has two-year-old twins. She quotes the chances as 9% for twins and 1% for more than twins when taking Clomid.
